SCRC Chapter #418
6th Annual Ride to the Wall
- All riders welcomed! Mark your calendars!
- Registrations start at 9:00am
- Leave Sudbury
Armoury in formation.
- Police escorted ride to North Bay Memorial Wall.
- Ceremony with Legion Marching of the Colours, a piper, bugler and laying of wreaths.
- Cheque presentation.
- Refreshments served courtesy of the North Bay Legion.
- Return to Sudbury Armoury for BBQ, prizes, and and evening dance with live
entertainment provided by 'Dani Star'.
Bus transportation is provided for Veterans, Legionnaires, or anyone without a
motorcycle wishing to accompany us on this event. For more info, or to book your seat, please contact 1st officer Butch Ouimette.

SCRC #418 would like to thank those that donated prizes, food, transportation, police escorts and their time to make this event such a successful one. We hope our expressed appreciation reached everyone with our classified ad in the local paper around Remembrance Day.

Santa Claus Parade
- For the 2nd year in a row, the SCRC Nickel Centre #418 entered a trailer in the City of Greater Sudbury's Annual Christmas Parade. Club members volunteered their time, decorations and ideas which resulted in a terrifically decorated trailer with bright lights, a Christmas tree, and the recording secretary's HD Fat Boy. Since this year's theme was Christmas Around the World, flags from around the world adorned the trailer. The 1st, 2nd & 3rd officers along with another member each rode their bikes behind the trailer. Additional members walked along the parade route to hand out candy and free pop coupons to children along the way. The Club proudly displayed the banners on each side of the trailer. A great time was had by all. Again, thanks to those volunteers that made it happen. Any and all pictures of this event can be sent to webmaster@scrc418.ca
- UPDATE - The SCRC Sudbury/Nickel Centre Chapter #418 was awarded 1st place in the vehicle float category. A much appreciated Thank you goes out to all who volunteered their time and expertise.
